Come 2017, that 90 minute trip may be no more, as representatives from IKEA announced plans to on a new Polaris Parkway location on the site of the old Germain Amphitheater. The store will be the second in Ohio, joining the store in West Chester, which opened in 2008.
In addition to the main shopping area, the new store will include a supervised children’s play area and a 450-seat restaurant where IKEA will serve its famous meatballs, lingonberries and salmon dishes along with other American and Swedish menu items.
