We all know that Dublin City Schools are top notch. But Dublin's High Schools topped the list for best High Schools in Ohio. Aren't you proud to live in Dublin!?
Dublin Jerome is ranked 109, Dublin Coffman is ranked 223 and Dublin Scioto is ranked 300. “These are some of our highest rankings ever,” said Superintendent Dr. David Axner. “The entire community should be proud of the quality of our high schools. Our parents, students, and teaching staff deserve this recognition.”
Only 19 high schools in Ohio were on the list, and three of those were Dublin City School District high schools. All three high schools made huge moves up the list from their 2010 rankings. Jerome moved up 329 spots, Coffman moved up 436 spots, and Scioto moved up 425 spots. Each school’s score is comprised of six components: graduation rate (25%), college matriculation rate (25%), AP tests taken per graduate (25%), average SAT/ACT scores (10%), average AP/IB/AICE scores (10%), and AP courses offered (5%).
The district’s high schools have been climbing the rankings since first appearing on the list several years ago.
